Example Website: Eggleston Parish Council

Website design, development and updates for Eggleston Parish Council
I am responsible for the design, development, management and upkeep of the Eggleston Parish Council website which includes documents, useful links, photographs and other important pages.

Creating An Engaging Website
The design of the Eggleston Parish Council website uses modern web aesthetics and functionality. It features a clean, intuitive interface that ensures users can easily navigate through various sections, from council meeting minutes to community announcements. The colour scheme reflects the natural beauty of the Teesdale area, incorporating earthy tones and vibrant greens to create a welcoming online environment. Additionally, the website is optimised for accessibility, ensuring that all users, regardless of their abilities, can access important information with ease.
Webflow and Relume are integral tools in modern website design, offering a blend of creativity and functionality. Webflow provides a robust platform for designers to create responsive websites without the need for extensive coding knowledge. Its visual editor allows for real-time design adjustments, making it easier to implement changes and see immediate results. Relume, on the other hand, complements Webflow by offering a library of pre-designed components and templates that can be customised to fit the specific needs of a project. Together, these tools streamline the design process, enabling the creation of visually appealing and highly functional websites.

Wireframes to Final Designs

About the Eggleston Parish Council Website
" Eggleston village lies just to the north of the B6282, which is the main road through Teesdale on the north side of the river Tees. Roads lead off Folly Top to Woodland, Staindrop and Barnard Castle and at the bottom of Folly Bank, south to Romaldkirk, Mickleton and west to Middleton in Teesdale and to the north to Stanhope. These junctions make Eggleston the crossroads to the area and therefore a gateway to the dales. "
The website was made using Webflow, a powerful web design tool that allows for intricate customisation and flexibility. It was custom-designed and tailored to the specific needs of the Parish Council, ensuring that all features and functionalities align with the council's objectives and community requirements. This bespoke approach not only enhances user experience but also ensures that the website remains a vital resource for residents and visitors alike. The use of Webflow enables easy updates and maintenance, allowing the council to keep the community informed with the latest news and events. Furthermore, the website's responsive design ensures accessibility across all devices, making it easy for users to access information whether they are at home or on the go.
