EnerGenix Engineering is a newly formed UK engineering consultancy specialising in electrical design, consultancy and training. As a brand-new company, it came to us with no existing web presence at all — just a clear sense of the expertise it offered and the industries it wanted to reach. The task was to turn that into a professional, credible website from a blank page.

We designed and built the site from scratch in Webflow. The structure was shaped around the way EnerGenix actually sells its work: a clear route through the core service areas — low and high voltage electrical infrastructure design, C-NET (Critical Network & Electrical Technology), and battery electric locomotive maintenance — alongside About, Examples, Careers and Contact pages. Each service sits on its own page so that a prospective client arriving from a search or a referral lands on exactly the information they need, rather than having to unpick a single long page.

The design brief called for restraint. EnerGenix works with specialist clients in rail, heritage engineering and critical electrical infrastructure, and that audience responds to clarity and evidence rather than decoration. We used a clean, uncluttered layout with generous spacing, a straightforward type hierarchy and plenty of room for technical detail, so that the engineering credentials do the talking. The Examples section was built to showcase project write-ups properly — the challenge, the approach, the outcome and a client testimonial — giving a young company a way to demonstrate a track record from day one.

Everything was built responsively and tested across desktop, tablet and mobile, with the page structure and components set up so that EnerGenix can add new services and project examples as the business grows. The site is hosted on Webflow, which keeps performance and security handled and gives the client a simple, non-technical way to keep things up to date.

The result is a first website for EnerGenix that looks established rather than new — a professional shop window for a young engineering business and a solid foundation to build on as its portfolio expands.

“We have depended on Jamie so many times since we were first introduced to him in 2015. He is always patient and polite, even when we make mistakes with our website content, and we have asked his advice about other computer and Internet issues, too. He is a fountain of knowledge about how we can develop, and has moved us on to new systems as new website products become available. Website changes and updates are always completed promptly, which makes using the site with social media so much easier. We are very happy with our website, which attracts compliments every year.”
